An early 20th century gem set entwined cipher brooch. The rose-cut diamond and vari-cut emerald and ruby monogram, to the knife-edge bar. Length 3.3cms. Weight 6.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. The reverse of the monogram shows file marks. The diamonds appear moderately bright and well matched. Estimated total diamond spread weight 0.35ct, which is no indication of the total diamond weight. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The emeralds are moderately well matched, there are two emeralds deficient. Significant abrasions. The rubies are well matched with a purplish red hue. Significant abrasion. The knife-edge bar is a probable later replacement.
