A late 19th century silver and gold diamond double crescent brooch. The intertwined old-cut diamond crescents, with old-cut diamond star accents. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct, J-K colour, SI1-SI2 clarity. Length 2.3cms. Weight 4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general age. The majority of the brooch is silver. There is a thin backing of gold. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification.
Colour graded within the limitations of the mount, potentially higher. Later added brooch pin and clasp.
