Lot Description
A mid 20th century platinum diamond double clip. Comprising two asymmetric scrolling panels, each designed as series of single-cut diamond curved lines with vari-cut diamond spray terminals, divides to form two individual brooches. Estimated total diamond weight 4.50cts, H-K colour, SI1-P1 clarity. 9ct gold fittings. Length 5.4cms. Weight 19.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The diamonds are bright, there are more significant inclusions to some diamonds visible with the unaided eye, they are specifically noticeable to the baguette-cut diamonds. The diamonds vary in colour, some seem to be drawing significantly more colour. There is some rusting to the clip fittings. The brooch fitting fits securely. Please note that the fittings are not platinum and are 9ct gold.
