Lot Description
An early 20th century 9ct gold turquoise and seed pearl necklace and a base metal paste pendant. The first designed as a belcher-link chain set with circular turquoise cabochons and seed pearl spacers, the second of openwork scrolling design set with yellow paste and imitation pearls. Length of chain 46cms. Length of pendant 4.5cms. Weight of gold necklace 7.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general age. One seed pearl replacement, which does not match in size. Heavy wear to surface of one seed pearl. The nacre has cracked and worn away. The turquoise are not well matched. Many may be replacements. The surface of the pendant has worn thin in several areas revealing the metal base. Paste abraded.
