Lot Description
A gentleman's late Victorian 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, within an extended claw setting, to the tapered shoulders, scrolling gallery and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 1.85cts, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1894. Weight 7.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the ring in keeping with minor wear, there are some significant scratches to the back of the band. The diamond is bright, there are a couple of black inclusions beneath the outer facets, that appear to mirror within the diamond. Approximate dimensions of diamond 7.85 by 7.35 by 4.98mms, there are some small nibbles to the girdle of the diamond. Colour graded within the confines of the mount which may influence the perceived colour, please note that colour grade should be considered a guide only and may appear slightly better or worse if viewed unmounted.
