An early 20th century 18ct gold split pearl star pendant. The twelve ray star set throughout with split pearls, suspended from a similarly-set hinged surmount, may be worn as a brooch. Length 4cms. Weight 7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general wear. Brooch fitting possible replacement. Area of more significant discolouration to reverse of one of the rays as a result of an earlier metal test. Surmount is removable. One small split pearl deficient. Split pearls fairly well matched. Length of star 3.3cms.
