A Chinese famille rose porcelain 'Eight Immortals' vase.
Qianlong (1736-1795) mark, but probably 19th century,
of ovoid form with waisted neck and underglaze blue floral frieze with moulded zoomorphic handles (possibly stylised elephants or minogame) holding rings, the body finely decorated with the Eight Immortals crossing the sea in a boat, figures on a terrace looking on, another riding a phoenix, underglaze blue square 'seal' mark beneath, 11", (28cm) high.
