A set of 32 late 19th century celestial picture cards, each card pierced with the position of the stars within the constellation, tissue backed allowing them to be illuminated from behind, the fronts hand drawn in black ink and watercolour outlining the character or animal of the named constellation, each card 5.5" x 8" (14cm x 20cm), contained within original cardboard box and cover, with applied paper label 'Uranias Mirror'
