Condition Report
Both have an allover brownish tinge and slight vertical bands from previous backing boards, but no foxing. Would benefit from a professional clean and reframe.
The frame veneer is peeling and the paintings would perhaps look better within card mounts and larger frames. The existing frames and superficially scratched.
The overall quality of painting is extremely good but the artist is so far not traceable. Given that the images are reversed from the original these may have been copied using a pinhole camera and mirror, or reversed glass negatives?
