Lot Description

An imposing 19th century Meissen porcelain figural centrepiece. Modelled as the Four Seasons, each semi-naked with attribute, standing beneath a pierced bowl with arcaded rim, the base with bulging floral frieze on a foliate apron and gilt scroll feet, underglaze blue crossed swords mark, 22.75", (58cm) high.

Cracks (some firing flaws) to three loops of arcaded rim. Horn held by one figure could be restored (appears uneven, regilded). Slight rubbing to gilt but generally good.
