A large Chinese silk hanging. Circa 1900, the ivory ground finely worked with various exotic birds including cranes amidst trees, 50.5" x 134.5", (128cm x 342cm).

Backed onto a second piece of unworked silk with card 'pelmet'. Unstitched at sides so is fraying slightly. Small tear to right edge, frayed to one lower corner. Has been stored wrapped round pelmet strip so has light creases.
