A French four-glass mantel clock. Having a 4.5-inch silvered Roman chapter ring with raised brass gothic blackletter numerals, the two-train movement, striking on a coiled gong, stamped "ROB'T H. HALFORD 43 FENCHURCH ST. LONDON 2537 18 3", the case with disc-knopped silvered reeded Corinthian columns, 14", (35.5cm) high, with Ellicot-type bimetallic pendulum.
