A Victorian brass skeleton timepiece with passing strike. The 6.25-inch pierced multi-lobed chapter ring before a four-pillar gut-driven single-fusee movement with wheels of four crossings, the architectural triple-spire frame surmounted by a vertical bell with pikestaff hammer, 13", (33cm) high, on an oval white marble plinth and ebonised base with intact oval glass dome, 19", (49cm) high overall.

Chapter ring is cream painted not silvered. Gut line may need replacing. Dome could be a good replacement - slightly out of shape with base - but otherwise sound.
