A good Victorian brass skeleton timepiece with passing strike. The 4.5-inch multi-lobed chapter ring before a knopped six-pillar gut-driven single-fusee movement with wheels of six crossings, the unusual lyre-shaped frame, on stepped turned feet, surmounted by a large bell, 9.75", (24.5cm) high, on a stepped ebonised base with intact oval glass dome, 15.25", (38.5cm) high overall.
