A fine and large 1930s Lenci earthenware pottery figure
Workshop of Helen (Elena) Konig-Scavini and Enrico Scavini, Turin, circa 1928-37.
Modelled as a young girl, dressed in yellow bonnet with blue ribbon, and stylish checked coat, holding her toy golly, on a moulded circular base, blacked painted marks beneath 'Lenci Torino 12 (XII) Made in Italy Tk', 16.5", (42cm) high.
Provenance: deceased private estate, North West England. Purchased as a gift by the daughter of the deceased in approximately 1980 (ex. inf. vendor).

Condition Report
Several fine glaze hairlines to bonnet. Greyish haircrack to back of one leg. A number of small flakes and a couple of larger chips to hem of skirt, otherwise sound. No restoration detected.
Diverse sottili crepe allo smalto del cofano. Grigiastro crepa al retro di una gamba. Un certo numero di piccoli fiocchi e un paio di chip piĆ¹ grandi al orlo della gonna, altrimenti intatto. Nessun restauro rilevato.
