A 19th century gilt metal mounted planter, the top with removable cover lifting to reveal an aperture formerly fitted with a metal trough (now missing), above a burr walnut and mahogany cross banded frame with applied hand painted porcelain panels, raised upon slender cabriole supports, 28.5" (72.25cm) wide, 30.75" (78cm) high
