A mid 20th century platinum and 15ct gold diamond enamel novelty tie retainer. Designed as diamond point and enamel mallards in flight, to the connecting pin. Length 7.4cms. Weight 4.6gms. With associated case.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Stamped Plat'm 15ct. The diamonds appear relatively bright and well matched, estimated total diamond weight 0.08ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The enamel is in good condition. Slight damage to base of box, general wear.
