Lot Description
An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond five-stone ring. The three graduated oval-shape rubies, with old-cut diamond intervals, to the bifurcated shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Later hallmarks for Sheffield, 2013. Weight 3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. The rubies are a pinkish red with an even saturation of colour, there are typical inclusions visible with the unaided eye. There is significant abrasion to the facet edges of the rubies, visible with the unaided eye. The diamonds are bright, there are three rose-cut diamonds deficient, that would need to be replaced.
