A late Victorian 15ct gold ruby and diamond brooch. The tapered panel with central alternating circular-shape ruby and rose-cut diamond line, to the bead and scroll detail. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1895. Length 4.3cms. Weight 3.3gms.

Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. There are dents to the reverse and some more significant scratches to the sides The rubies are a pinkish red, one diamond is chipped, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
