Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches to all of the rings in keeping with overall wear. The diamonds in the five-stone ring do not match, one is far shallower than the other. The rubies vary in colour, there is abrasion visible with magnification and typical inclusions, the back of the band is quite thin. There is abrasion and chips to the garnets, the imitation pearls are worn, there is lead solder to the shoulders where the band has been replaced. The split pearls to the dress ring are fairly well matched, there are inclusions to the diamonds, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
The settings appear loose. The anchor assay stamp and date letter are visible however the rest of the hallmark has worn away. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma. For your convenience we have applied this notice to lots which contain rubies or jadeite originating in Burma, or those of indeterminate origin.
