An early 20th century 15ct gold gem-set bar brooch and a late 19th century ring. The brooch designed as a ruby detail heart with seed pearl foliate accents, the ring designed as two pear-shape light blue gems with ruby spacers. Hallmarks for Chester, 1902 and Birmingham, partially rubbed. Length of brooch 4.8cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized to the ring, partially cutting through the hallmarks. Safety chain likely replacement. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The rubies are a well matched purplish red hue, significant abrasion to the rubies on the ring. Seed pearls likely replacements, significant wear to some. The pear-shape gems are a very pale greenish blue hue with significant abrasion and chips. Ring size J 1/2.
