An early 20th century 18ct gold diamond and split pearl ring. The split pearl line, with graduated old and single-cut diamond sides, to the engraved shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Weight 3.5gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Possible replacement band, of a similar age, with solder joints to the shoulders. There is a patch of abrasion to one shoulder. Evidence of acid testing, with significant associated scratches and scuffs to the inside of the band. Split pearls creamy colour, rose and bluish overtones. Fairly good skins with surface blemishes. Fair to good lustre. Split pearls differ slightly in hue and lustre. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Diamonds fairly bright. One is more square in shape, the others are rounder. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Clarity varies, minor to profuse inclusions. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion. Ring size O1/2. Stamped 18ct. Date letter to the inner band.
