An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Of marquise-shape outline, the oval-shape sapphire, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct. Weight 2.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The sapphire is chipped. The sapphire has a dark body colour. Please see the Important Notice for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Light nicks and chips can be seen to some. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Length of cluster 1.4cms. Stamped 18ct. Ring size M.
