A mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, weighing 2.39cts, to the engraved shoulders and plain band. Estimated tinted colour, P1 clarity. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with general wear. The claws have worn very thin and re-tipping is recommended to ensure the diamond is secure. Evidence of repair. Diamond bright. There is a dark inclusion and surface reaching fracture visible through the table and extending towards the girdle. There are also chips to the girdle and pavilion facets, durability may be affected. Inclusions visible to the unaided eye. Diamond in fair to poor condition with nibbles and chips. Ring size M1/2. Stamped 18ct plat.
