Condition Report
The mug displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Various surface dints and bumps throughout and some deeper scratches and nicks. A small vertical solder line is visible running down from the main rim, possibly a construction line or a repair, as the metal does feel a little thinner in this area. Impressions from the base of the handle are clearly visible to the interior and solder is visible to the exterior, possibly a repair? Knock to the foot rim and there are patches of greenish tarnishing to the underside. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but still legible. The Duty mark is indistinct.
