A 1920's silver sauce boat of classic form with shaped rim, scrolling handle and raised on three shell mounted hoof feet. Hallmarked Reid & Sons, London 1922. Height measuring 3 inches (8 cm), weight 4.8 ozt (149 grams).

The sauce boat displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing visible and would benefit from a clean and polish. Minor dents to the body. Small tears to the frilled rim. Reid & Sons retailer's stamp to the underside is double/over-stamped.  The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.
