Lot Description
A 1930's silver christening mug of plain tapering outline with a 'C' shape handle and personal engraving, hallmarked Horton & Allday, Birmingham 1931. Together with a small silver pedestal dish of plain oval outline, hallmarked London 1938, maker's mark 'JCL'. Height of mug measures 2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm), length of dish measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), combined weight 5.46 ozt (170 grams). (2).

Condition Report
Both items display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Deeper scratches and nicks are visible to both. The mug also displays some surface dints and bumps, including one larger dent near to the base, to one side of the handle. The hallmarks to both items are clear and legible.
