Lot Description
Modern silver candlestick modelled as a classical column, below a Corinthian style capital and raised above a stepped square, filled base with beaded border detail, hallmarked W I Broadway & Co., Birmingham 1979. Together with a matched silver plated four branch candle arm with detachable nozzles and conforming Corinthian capitals and beaded decoration. Height of silver candlestick measures 12 1/4 inches (31 cm), maximum height with candle arm measures 19 inches (48 cm).

Condition Report
Both pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the use. Heavier tarnishing to some areas. Some minor dints and bumps. Some rounding and loss of detail to raised decoration. Some rubbing, especially to date letter, but hallmarks are legible. The two sections do appear to fit quite well together, even though lower part is silver and upper section is silver plate.
