An early twentieth century silver caster of octagonal form and pierced detachable cover. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1918. Height measuring 8 1/4 inches (21 cm), weight 5.9 ozt (185 grams).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The base has taken a knock being slightly compressed to one side and now lop-sided and wobbles. Further dints and bumps. Holes have formed on most of the wide corners to the wide part of the body. Hallmarks are very rubbed, date letter only visible to the lid.
