Lot Description
A pair of modern silver mounted wine bottle coasters, each of plain form with moulded rim and slightly spreading wood inset base. Hallmarked London 1986 with maker's mark 'DP'. Rim diameter measures 3 5/8 inches (9.2 cm).

Condition Report
Both coasters display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Heavier tarnishing is visible to some areas and they would both benefit from a clean and polish. Deeper scratches and nicks are visible, also several small surface dints and bumps. Seam lines are also visible. One coaster has green baize on the underside. However, it is missing from the other one and a crack is visible in the wood. The wooden base is also slightly loose in the mount. Some light rubbing to hallmarks, but they are all still legible.
