Condition Report
The pair of snuffers displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to some areas and numerous deeper scratches and nicks are visible. Rounding and more wear to the edges. The scissor action is in working order, however the spring and guillotine action are not working properly. The guillotine does lift from the centre of the chamber as the scissors are closed but it does not snap down as it should at the final closing of the scissors. Some slight distortion to maker's marks but other hallmarks are clear and legible.
