Condition Report
Both boxes display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible and both would benefit from a clean and polish. Some loss of detail to decoration and raised moulding. Also some surface dints and bumps. The interior of one of the boxes is in very poor condition, as pieces have fallen out or are missing and there are various splits, etc. Due to the poor interior condition, this box no longer closes properly. The interior of the other box is in slightly better condition, however the lining of the lid is loose, there is a piece missing and there are other splits and cracks. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but still legible.
