Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted and tortoiseshell part dressing table set, comprising a hand mirror, a clothes brush and a pair of hair brushes, each with tortoiseshell back inlaid with a silver monogram and within a plain silver mount. Hallmarked Walker & Hall, Birmingham 1913 or 1938. Height of mirror measures 11 1/2 inches (29 cm). (4).

Condition Report
All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible to the silver mounts and they would benefit from a clean and polish. The mounts are lifting slightly in places. Numerous deeper scratches are visible and some small dints and bumps. Some dry patches are visible to the tortoiseshell, also some surface nicks and scratches. Rubbing to hallmarks and some are partly obscured, however all are still legible.
