Lot Description
A Garrard silver replica model of an Air Europe Boeing 737, with engraved and gilded detailing, raised at an angle in flight on a stand and mounted on a marble base. Hallmarked to the underside of the nose Garrard & Co Ltd., London 1983, specially commissioned and with a copy of the original receipt. Maximum length nose to tail measures 23 1/4 inches (59 cm), wing-span measures 24 inches (61 cm), gross weight not including stand 82.94 ozt (2580 grams).

Condition Report
The model displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and spots or patches of tarnishing to some areas. There appears to be an exterior coating, which is flaking off in some parts. Some deeper scratches, nicks and marks visible to some areas. A little bit more wear and some rounding to the protruding edges, but the engraved detailing is still clear. Possible repair to the underside of the tail and there are a couple of other dark patches visible to the underside. Some minor dints/bumps. Some slight rubbing to hallmarks but still clear and legible. The baize on the underside of the marble base has come off.
