A George IV silver teapot of oval shaped form with engraved crests, scrolling gadrooned rim, leaf mounted spout, handle and paw feet. Hallmarked Joseph Angell I, London 1821. Height measuring 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 23 ozt (723 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. dints and bumps. Dent next to the engraved crests. The lid rises slightly in when in the closed position. Ivory insulators have numerous hairline fractures. Small split to the edge of the spout opening. Handle wobbles. Hallmarks appear worn.
