Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted cased manicure set, comprising a pair of circular trinket boxes, a nail buffer, a pair of scissors and a toothbrush, and a removable upper section containing a nail file, two further nail tools and a second pair of scissors, all silver mounts with engine turned decoration apart from scissor handles, (lower section with two vacant spaces). Hallmarked Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1912/13/14.

Condition Report
All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Deeper scratches and nicks are visible to some areas and there is some slight loss of detail to the engine turned decoration in places. Some small dints and bumps, mainly visible to the trinket pots. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but they are mainly legible. Some wear, discolouration and deterioration to case and material lining including some tears.
