Lot Description

A Victorian cased parcel-gilt silver christening mug of tapering form, with stippled diaper-work embossed with graduated circular and teardrop bosses, to the pedestal base conforming in decoration and a cast silver handle modelled as a dragon, in original fitted case. Hallmarked Alexander Macrae, London 1867. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 6.7 ozt (210 grams).
