Lot 256

Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver mounted photograph frame, of rectangular form with arched top and spreading base, with decorative moulded borders and stained wood easel back.  Hallmarked E F Braham Ltd., Birmingham 1912.  Maximum height measures 6 3/4 inches (17 cm).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

The silver mount displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Heavy tarnishing is visible all over and it would benefit from a clean and polish.  There are also numerous surface dints and bumps and it is lifting in several places.  Some wear and damage to the wooden back.  Hallmarks a little rubbed but still legible.
