A Sheffield plate urn shape tea caddy, decorated to the main body with wheat-ear swags linked by patera motifs, with twin leaf moulded and scrolled handles and a detachable lid with conforming urn finial, raised above a circular foot with square base. Maximum height including finial measures 6 3/4 inches (17 cm).

The caddy displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some general minor surface dints and bumps throughout, also some minor nicks. Some loss of detail to the decoration in places. Also some wear to the plating, especially along edges, corners and raised moulding.
