An Edwardian pair of silver fern pots of tapered form with embossed shoulder and everted rim. Hallmarked Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd, London 1906. Height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm), gross weight 2.6 ozt (81 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A little loss of definition and flattening to the decoration. Minor split to the silver on the embossed decoration on one. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible. Possible removal of engravings.
