Lot Description
A late nineteenth century Danish silver tot cup, of slightly tapering form with a hammered honeycomb ground. Struck with the Three Tower mark and date 1896, Assay Master mark for Simon Groth and a further indistinct mark, also with impressed letters 'M P', possibly for M. H. Petersen (1893-1937). Height measures 2 inches (5 cm), weight 44.7 grams).

Condition Report
The item displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. It is quite dirty in places and would benefit from a clean and polish. General minor nicks, especially around the rims. Stuck marks to the underside are mainly legible. There is one indistinct mark, which appears to be two indistinct letters below a crown in an oval shape punch.
