Lot Description
A turn of the century American silver crumb scoop, with twisted rope edge, engraved monogram and floral decoration to the handle, stamped S Kirk & Son Co 925/1000. Together with two silver dessert spoons with tapered stems, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1941, and a berry spoon, hallmarked D & J Wellby Ltd. London 1930. Gross weight 11 ozt (346 grams). Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to the spoons. Dessert spoon bowls appear dented with noticeable edge wear. Berry spoon is the size of a dessert spoons, bowl is gilded but heavily discoloureed, the relief has lost definition. Hallmarks and American marks are clear and legible.
