A Victorian Scottish silver set of six teaspoons and pair of sugar nips, in Old English pattern with engraved foliate motifs to the stems and terminals and vacant oval cartouche, hallmarked Glasgow 1884, maker's mark of an interlaced 'WS' monogram. Together with a part cased set of five silver handled fruit knives, hallmarked Yates Brothers, Sheffield 1911 (one missing). Weighable silver 4.12 ozt (128.4 grams).

Condition Report
All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There are some deeper scratches and nicks, especially visible to the spoon bowls, where there are also some minor dints and bumps. Some loss of detail to the engraved decoration. Hallmarks are legible. The case is in poor condition and it is not the original case. Some slight dints to the embossed knife handles. Slight rubbing to hallmarks but they are still legible.
