All the pieces in the lot display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  There are some deeper scratches and nicks, especially visible to the spoon bowls, where there are also some minor dints and bumps.  Some loss of detail to the engraved decoration.  Hallmarks are legible.  The case is in poor condition and it is not the original case.  Some slight dints to the embossed knife handles.  Slight rubbing to hallmarks but they are still legible.
