Lot Description

A George III cased composite pair of berry spoons and sugar sifter, each with later fruiting embossed bowls, later bright-cut engraved stems and initialled terminals. Hallmarked London 1797/1800/1809, maker's mark to one spoon George Gray, others indistinct. Gross weight 4.6 ozt (145 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Crack/hole to one of the bowls. Gilding worn and some areas of heavier tarnishing. Hallmarks are legible, two maker's marks are almost indistinct but all appear to differ. The case displays general wear and tear.
