Condition Report
Both ladles display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. General minor nicks and some deeper scratches visible to both and especially to the bowls. Also rounding of edges. On the George III ladle, there is loss of definition and detail to the crest and some surface dints and bumps to the bowl. The hallmarks located at the base of the stem are a little squashed and distorted and the date letter is indistinct. Hallmarks on the later ladle are clear and legible, although the maker's mark is a little distorted.
