Lot Description

An Edwardian silver mounted shoe horn with steel blade, the silver terminal modelled as Mr Punch. Hallmarked Crisford & Norris Ltd., Birmingham 1906. Length measures 5 1/4 inches (13.3 cm).

The shoe horn displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  There are several patches of rust to the blade, especially around the edges.  On the Mr Punch finial, there are a couple of splits to along the seam line and a couple of other small areas of damage.  Hallmarks are slightly rubbed but still legible.
