A Victorian silver sovereign case of circular form with foliate engraving, hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd, Birmingham 1898. Together with a pair of portrait cufflinks, stamped silver. (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. No personal engraving to the sovereign case., the two halves do not quite sit flush, possible repair to the interior. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
