Lot Description
An Edwardian silver double sovereign case of plain oval form and opening to reveal two sprung panels for a Sovereign and Half-Sovereign, hallmarked Birmingham 1902. Together with a George IV silver bottle label for Gin, hallmarked William Bateman II, London 1827, a mid-nineteenth century Austro-Hungarian snuff box, dated 1858 and a modern silver cigar piercer, hallmarked Birmingham 1979. Gross weight 3.5 ozt (110 grams).

Condition Report
In varied state. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing to the label and sovereign case. Minor dints and bumps. Austro-Hungarian snuff box displays heavy rubbing /wear to the decoration, the lid rises a little in the closed position, interior looks to have been previously gilded, Austro-Hungarian mark indicates Vienna, 1858, also stamped TS.
