Lot 451

Lot Description

A selection of novelty items to include a circular compact with engine turned decoration and central monogram, hallmarked Turner & Simpson, Birmingham 1951, a small Tiffany & Co funnel, stamped 'sterling', a small figure modelled as a snail, impressed '800', probably Italian, a pheasant bottle stop impressed Garrard, a napkin ring modelled as a duck and marked '925', and a miniature urn shape vase. (6).

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Varied condition, however all the items display general surface scratches, nicks, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use.  Some heavy tarnishing is visible to some pieces.  The hinges and clasp on the compact are in working order, however the powder puff is missing.  The snail is in need of repair as the shell has broken off the main body.  Marks, where present, are mainly legible, although there is distortion to some.
